How can I disable command blocks in single player

Question

I accedentaly put a command block somewhere with a redstone clock, and now i can't turn it off because i lost the coordinates, i dont want to loose my world :( Please help

I had the same issue and none of the answers here worked, so i worked persistently to try and find other solutions. I found a solution that worked flawlessly, and is likely flexible if some people have the somewhat same problem but with a few different instances. You need to download NBTExplorer (download link here: https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding-java-edition/minecraft-tools/1262665-nbtexplorer-nbt-editor-for-windows-and-mac)

You can use it to datamine your minecraft world without loading it at all, no matter what version your world is. Just use the search function and search for a word that you're sure is a part of the command in the command block, and delete it, then save. This should remove the command from the world and fix the issue :)

if you have the worldedit mod you might be able to delete it with /replacenear

I was stuck to a location because of a repeating tp command block, but I ended up using a //brush tool with air to remove blocks until I found the command block and simply deleted it.

For other people who have had this issue: the simplest way is just to download MCA Selector, which is a program which allows you to reset certain chunks in your world. If you know roughly the coordinates at which the command block is, then you can just load up the world and delete those chunks. If not, then you can choose the chunks you want to keep (i.e. ones where you have built stuff) and invert the selection to reset all the other chunks- this will delete the command block in the process. I had one set to '/kill @e' which kept killing me every time I entered my world.

I found a way! i dunno if it works on worlds from 2013 but maby, click win + r. Then type C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves. find the world (by its name) open the map, go to the map with the name "stats". (Open it with a text program) In the text find "minecraft:command_block": [number], and set it to 0. Open the world and it should work
