What tablet is best for my 6 yr old son to begin playing minecraft?

Question

Im a Mac person considering getting my 6 yr old son an ipad mini, but it seems that Minecraft might run better on a PC?

And sounds like I cant run the full version on a tablet, but for a 6.5 yr old starting out - I would imagine thats fine for now?

PC. Minecraft on computer has more features, and, once you get the hang of it, fairly easy to use. I would recommend PC over iPad/Tablet any day.

Well when I first started playing Minecraft I played on my miny iPad and then worked my skills up to the computer version. Because the PE is easer then the PC.So that is what I would do. But that decision is all up to you and your son.

I am sure the full PC version does not currently have all the features of Minecraft, but if you are OK with that you can just get him any tablet that has Google play or the App Store. If you want your son to play Minecraft with all the features (Redstone, nether, end, etc) then you will need a computer if you want it portable then I reccomend a surface, any surface as long as i t run windows and can support Minecraft like surface pro 3.
