Hi. I'm playing with my 5yr old on our phones v1.16.20. I have no idea what to do but would like to know how to use command blocks to generate "o.p" weapons for him. please advise me where to look for the command prompts for this edition. or a tutorial on how to use commands, one that a Dad (who is pc / gaming challenged) could use to explain to a 5yr old.

If you're playing on bedrock version and you have op you can type in chat /give @p minecraft:command_block to recieve a command block. If you wan't to spawn in an op weapon for him you type in chat  /give @p minecraft:diamond_sword , then do /enchant @p minecraft:sharpness 5
