server does not have port number

Question

My server does not have a port number, but when i leave the port box empty, it tells me to enter it.  What do i do?

All servers use a Port. Default port is 25565 and that is what you need to enter on Server Lists and such.

The game will recognice the IP without the port if you use the default one.
