having trouble using items so if i'm holding an item, i can't seem to drop it to use it to make my house

Question

new to game - in controls, the "use item" bar is set to "button 1" and i can't seem to change that.

just can't seem to drop or use any of my items and need some insight.  thanks.

Ok, first make sure on your PC that you have secondary/right click enabled. Then in controls, left click use item them click with the secondary button on the mouse. In game, if you are trying to place a block, move the cursor so that it is over the desired block and right click. Hope this helps, ~miklvy
