get mcpatcher to work with folder

My mods wouldnt work with mcpatcher so i made the minecraft.jar into a folder and added the mods that way and they work but now i need mcpatcher to use my texture pack and mcpatcher wont open folders so is there away to get it to work with folders or to turn the folder back to just a jar btw im on mac

You shouldn't be able to run minecraft.jar as a folder to begin with, it should always be a jar.

You can also manually install your  TP by just dragging it into your minecraft.jar.
