All of the blocks are see through, how do I fix this?

Question

All of the blocks except for leave blocks or animals are clear and see through except around the edges. Like the ground is all see through to the point where I can see lava that's way down in the ground, underneath the ground I'm standing on. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Go to the main menu, then options, and then turn off "fancy blocks." But if all your blocks are see through, I wouldn't be complaining.

Make sure you do not have a texture pack on that could be making this problem.
