If i have a mincraft account and now use a new computer, will i have all the worlds?

I used someone's lap top for the last few years playing minecraft.  I just got my own Laptop.  When I sign on to minecraft I do not see my worlds?  should I?

In singleplayer, you have to create the world and enter a seed if you have one. In multiplayer, you have to add a server by entering the IP, or by chosing the Direct Connect button. Note: If you choose the Direct Connect button, the IP you entered will not appear as a Minecraft server. You'll have to choose the Add Server button for that.
