if i get stuck floating what do i do? please help, i spent hours building...

after spending a long time building in a world, all of a sudden i seem to get suspended in air, or floating and have no way to continue. I need to leave the world and start over.....is there anyway to resume after this happens to me, please help...thanks Jordan

you have to press the letter R on the keyboard to stop floating. Or you can press the SHIFT button to float down slowly.

Try exiting minecraft and restarting it.  This shoud fix your problem becasue I think what you are describing is a lag glitch.  If this doesn't work, go to %appdata% then click the .minecraft file.  Go into saves and you world should be there.  Copy it into another file.  Reinstall minecraft.  Go back to the .minecraft file and put the save back in the saves folder.
