  • how do I access my own account on a different laptop in my home?

I created a world on one laptop but it's not showing up on my other laptop. That world I created a couple months ago but I don't see where it's referred to when I open minecraft on the other laptop.      Thanks

    Hi,

Go on the laptop where you can see your world.

    1. Open your Start menu and type this: %appdata%

    2. Then open the folder called 'Roaming'.

    3. Inside Roaming, you will see .minecraft at the top, open that and go into 'saves'. You will see your world there.

You need to copy the world onto a memory stick or upload it to Dropbox or something similar, then you can put your memory stick in the other laptop (or open Dropbox etc) then repeat the steps above on your other laptop and copy and paste the world into the 'saves' folder on there.

Minecraft data is not saved online, so anything you do on one device won't update on the other one. Unfortunately any progress you make on your world on one laptop, you will always need to copy it to be able to play it on your other laptop.

    Hope this helps.
