Well, if you know what to do, it's actually very simple. First, put up Minecraft. in the update news it shall say "new 1.6.4" you do need a new mc launcher for 1.6.4 and so forth. Click on the link and download. After it's downloaded, open it up and the rest will be done for you (I think your servers and worlds are saved, not sure)
