  • change climate in area

I have a structure that I built over a long period, which has has several complicated redstone circuits. It also has a small pool of water. The problem is the water is freezing on me. Is there a way to change the area into a warmer climate type so the water stops freezing? /weather clear will make it stop snowing but will not make the area warmer. The water keeps freezing.

edit: I also want to keep the area dark at night, so nearby light sources to melt the ice will not help.

Get world edit and change the watter to //setbiome desert..Other than that place torches near the water o0r blocks above the water. But the only way to keep it pretty is with world edit....UNless glowstone or sand makes sure snow dosent make it freeze
