where do i start to find steel??

first you have to break wood get a pickaxe mine some cobble and then try to find steel and make a sword pick-axe shovel or axe better yet armour so enjoy and i hope this answer helped you!

Steel does not exist. To make flint and steel you use flint and iron. :) Hope this helps!
