    • I've mined down until I hit bedrock and mined around more but haven't found anything should that happen or not

    i do th same it is normal you have to mine up a bit then you may find ores

    its all chance so yea dig up to any high block for coal 40 or so for iron and 12 for diamond that's all the ones I know.
