This is a matter of opinion. Tekkit classic includes Equivalent Exchange (Classic) which is a sort of more OP magicy kind of feel. Tekkit Lite Changes the version of Equivalent Exchange to EE3 which does not include as much OP magic stuff like Transmutation and EMC. You will have to make up your own mind :)
