how to make a netherland portal

What blocks do oi use for the nether portal and how do I activate it?

You will need: 10-14 Obsidian, and a Flint & Steel. How to obtain these items: Obsidian spawns when water meets a lava source block. In order to mine Obsidian you need a Diamond Pickaxe. You get Flint from Gravel by chance. The steel is actually Iron. They go diagonal from eachother in he crafting. Here is what the Portal looks like:   . There you go! (and FYI it's the Nether not the Netherlands)
