why is there no sound ?

dunno but te new version of minecraft has left the game without sound

Open Minecraft > Go to options then sound > then turn it up to 100%

after  you have done this and if you still have troubles go to

 

Control Panel > Sound,Speech and Audio Devices > Adjust the  System volume > Adjust it

Hey there,

Ok there are 1 of 3 different options that is causing this. I will insert images because it's kind of confusing to most.

1. Check your in-game minecraft sound options. Is the Music and Sound up to 100%?? You can find this option by doing "ESC"-Click "Options"- First Row..... Picture of what it looks like below.

2. You have your volume muted or your "Java" muted. By clicking the sound option or double clicking it, it will pop up a screen that will have "mixer" on it click that. Once you click that there will be an option that says "Minecraft" make sure that is turned all the way up. Examples below

3. Your sound in your pc or laptop is damaged and you need to take it in. That's all the options I can think of.
