My son ( in the uk) wants to link up his minecraft with his friend in Canada, is this possible pls? I no nothing about this game so pls talk simple!!!

You may want to fund some money for making a multiplayer server with him, ask your son if he knows or plays any of them, if he doesn't , he can search for them on google, or make one himself, (it will cost a bit of money to run a succesful one though) or if his friend can meet up with him on a server? If they both know the ip, they can 'link' together in play :) Hope I helped!
