Question

How can i go back to 1.4.7 when i updated to 1.5.  My multiplayer servers were all on 1.4.7 but now that i updated it says that i cant go to them cause i have 1.5 so i want to go back to 1.4.7

You can use a tool, called MC Downgrader, to change the files back to 1.4.7.

That's a directory listing of several different versions of Minecraft jars... I have to keep them because Mojang freakin releases updates to the Minecraft client before Bukkit has time to catch up... So inevitably, every time this happens, my players cannot join my server unless they downgrade or use a different client (like Spout).

Instructions for downgrading (on Windows):

Start -> Run -> %appdata%

goto the .minecraft folder

goto the /bin/ folder

delete minecraft.jar 

and paste in the minecraft.jar version that you want.
