My mod isnt working? Am I downloading it right?

Ok so I'm trying to download a mod and for some reason its not working. I checked on Youtube multiple times and I'm doing everything ther same as them! I really want this mod it look fun and also sounds fun. The link to download the mod: http://www.planetminecraft.com/mod/shape-shifter-1736589/ . But everytime I think I got it, my minecraft crashes. Please help I really want that mod. ):

P.S It should defiantly should work because its for 1.4.6 and thats what I have.

Did u delete the META-inf folder? If so and it still does not work my best advise to you is that you go to www.skydaz.com they have installers so u only have to download it and extract the file then go in the thing and press install mod. And one last thing make sure u back up ur minecraft before u install any mods because u could lose all of ur worlds.

hay your mod isnt working either cuz you have too much stuff downloaded on the computer or yo are needing to get another mo site to download it from
