I accidently messed up the controls! I need help because I dont know how to change them back!

Question

I have a macbook pro, and when I downloaded mine craft, the controls were easy to get used to, like to pick a block, you click on it, blah blah blah. So when I went to the controls panel, I accidently clicked on "pick block" and now instead of saying click, it says "Button 1". I tried to change it, but It wouldnt work! Now I have to play Minecraft WITHOUT being able to break blocks. PLEASE HELP!

When you are first into minecraft before you cilck on single player go to options>controls and change your control settings.
