  • You do need to keep backing up your world when you update it?

    Whenever you want to Update your world to an newer version, do you need to keep backing up the world so it doesn't get corrupted?

    Is possible to stop backing up the worlds. However, I would still recommend to keep backing up the worlds, especially when updating 1.12.2 and below to 1.13+. As for updating 1.13+ worlds, there's a lesser chance of being corrupted compared to updating 1.12.2 worlds but still regardless, I would backup in case when something unexpected might happen to that world.
