How to read old logs

I wanna find my Friend on Minecraft that I met on Hypixel and cannot for the life of me remember her Username

You go to the ".minecraft" folder or your directory of choice (if changed from ".minecraft") and then go to "logs". That's where all of the client logs are stored and you can see the chat logs.
