server removing port

i've publiced my server on the server list but is there an option to hide my port because people now see my ip as mc.cosmodromenetwork.net:25639 which will not work for most players.

You need to show the port to let people connect properly to your server.

You have two options if you want to remove the port. Either make sure your server runs on port 25565 (default port for minecraft).

Or you can setup SRV record that points to the ip with a port on. (You can Google something like "setup SRV minecraft" ) to find guides on it.
