Minecraft keeps crashing when i try to upload a server resource pack. How to fix?

Whenever I try to upload a resource pack the server suggests, it crashes once i press esc, and if i don't, it will look like it will load, but then doesn't. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The resource pack may be the issue, try with a few other resource packs and see if they load. if its a server-side issue (as in YOUR downloading the pack)

try this (I used hypixel as an example)

1) First go open minecraft.

2) Delete the Hypixel server.

3) Add it again with the IP "mc.hypixel.net".

4) Change the setting 'server resource pack' from prompt to 'enabled'.

5) Should work.
