  • How to recover a world that was saved on a different computer?

    +2 votes
So, I saved all of my files on a flash drive before switching computers, but I didn't know that I had to do the following...
    Click Run
    Type %appdatata%
    Click .minecraft
    Open Saves
    Then copy the world.
I just had everything in a minecraft folder on my old PC and just dragged it all in there.
When I go to open the saves file on my new PC it says the file is empty. How do I get my world back? I am currently running on an HP computer with Windows 10.

Um... You Need To Be More Specific... Like, Do You Still Have Your Old PC, Do You Have The Flash Drive With The World On It? If You Have The World Saved On A Flash Drive I Would Just Plug In The Drive And Put The World File In Your Saves Folder For MC, If You Still Have Your old PC Do The Same But Email The Other PC The File...

    Sorry I If I Can't Help...
