    Hi - thanks for the answer.

    If this is the case - we have the 1 desktop computer in the house & 2 laptops the kids play Minecraft on & access the current Minecraft on all 3 at the moment via Wi-fi using the 1 account.

    Will this work if all have the same IP address as at the same house & we make up a new account for our other child & download the game again as Minecraft already shows up on all of our computers?

    Sorry as a Mum I have no idea about this game & how it works.

    As far as I know, you can have as many people playing from one ip address as you want.  As long as each person has their own account :D

    also, you shouldn't need to re-download the game, simply login using the new account for each person
