how do we add mods

i dont know how to install mod or add mods and im searching it since i first played minecraft

I use to not know to but now i know when i was wondering i was thinking of youtube then i put in "how to instal" and put the mod wanted.

You'll need to install ModLoader first, by following the instructions at the official distribution point:

From there, each individual mod will give you instructions on how to install it. Many mods are as simple as dropping them in the "mods" directory created by ModLoader.
